Information and Terms of Sales How to Order
- For Every Item
Ordered, Please Indicate:
1. Quantity.
2. Catalog Number.
3. Colors and Color Code Numbers. If your order is incomplete,
processing will be delayed until missing information is provided.
- Acknowledgement
All orders will be acknowledged promptly, showing in detail how
your order has been entered, and indicating estimated shipping
date. Please examine this acknowledgement carefully and advise
us by return mail if the details shown are not according to your
requirements.
- Changes and
Cancellations
A charge of 25% will be made
on all orders cancelled or changed after production has begun.
Orders for "Specials" (any variation in size, color
or arrangement from our regularly cataloged items) are noncancellable.
- Returns
If merchandise is to be returned to Cabtron notify your Customer
Service Department. Return shipments will not be accepted unless
authorized. Upon authorization, returns must be forwarded TRANSPORTATION
CHARGES PREPAID. All returns are subject to a 15% return charge
and must be packed in original carton. "Specials" may
not be returned.
- Shortages and
Damages
All equipment is carefully
packed and inspected before shipment. Our responsibility ceases
when the carrier issues its receipt to us. Carrier assumes liability
for all Damages or Shortages. Inspect shipment on delivering.
If pieces are missing (short), cut, crushed, or otherwise in
bad condition, note full information on carrier's copy and your
copy of Freight Bill and Delivery Receipt. Important! If you
give the delivering carrier a clear receipt for a shipment, the
carrier is relieved of further responsibility.
Open cartons immediately! If damages are found - don't destroy
carton or container! Call carrier and report damage and request
an inspection. Confirm this request in writing. Hold carton and
unit for their inspection. This must be done within 15 days of
date of delivery! After inspection (or even if carrier fails
to inspect) written claim must be filed within 9 months of date
of delivery.
Any claim for damage or shortage must be filed by you the delivering
carrier.
Cabtron will not accept return of merchandise damaged in transit.
- Prices
Unless otherwise specified and approved, prices shown in current
Price List are applicable. Prices are subject to change without
notice. We reserve the right to invoice at prices in effect at
time of shipment.

- Minimum Order
CABTRON Products require a minimum order total of $75.00.
- Terms
Net 30 days from date of invoice.
- Delivery and
Freight Charges
All merchandise will be shipped F.O.B. Factory at Northbrook,
Illinois, Freight Collect. If you wish Freight charges Prepaid
and added to Invoice, please specify.
- Changes In Design
Or Structure
We reserve the right to make design and structural changes within
the CABTRON Modular Enclosure System when necessary to permit
CABTRON to continue as the leader in high quality products for
the electronics industry. Whenever it is possible to do so, advance
notice of changes in design and structure will be made.
- Sales Engineering
Representatives
CABTRON Sales Engineering Representatives are ever willing to
confer with you about any question you might have. They are located
in all major industrial areas and are well informed and up-to-date
on all the latest findings in the equipment enclosure field.
They are equipped with a stock list for realistic delivery information.
- Limited Warranty
All CABTRON Enclosures and Components are warranted for twelve
(12) months from date of purchase against defective material
and workmanship (but not against damage caused by accident or
abrasion). CABTRON will repair or replace free of charge all
such defective parts promptly upon notification.
